East Lombok (Peneleh Activists) - Lombok Regional Peneleh Activists held the Regional Peneleh Activist School (SAPR) for the second time.
The three-day event, August 13–15, 2026, was held at the Training Center in Sembalun Bumbung, East Lombok Regency, with the theme "Amidst the Current Youth Polemic, Are Prisoners Your Guardians?" — a reflective invitation for the younger generation to re-examine their position and contribution amidst the dynamics of the times.
This theme was chosen for a reason. Amidst the torrent of issues facing today's youth, SAPR provides a space for participants to pause, reflect, and reassess the role they can play in their communities.
This activity drew participants from various regencies on Lombok Island, from East Lombok to Central Lombok. Not only was the diversity geographically diverse, but the participants also came from diverse backgrounds, ranging from journalists to environmental activists, all united by a shared passion.
The ability to write narratives is seen as important as a tool for young people to help address the various polemics currently facing their generation, especially in NTB.
As the event drew to a close, all participants were officially inaugurated as Peneleh Activists, specifically for the Greater Lombok Region. However, this inauguration didn't stop at the ceremony. Each participant was required to develop a Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL) as concrete steps to contribute significantly and address the issues they had discussed during the event.
With this series of activities, the Lombok Regional SAPR is expected to generate not only discourse but also concrete action from its youth, who are ready to take on roles amidst the challenges of the times.(*)
